Carr Fire Plaque Presentation This morning CHP Redding had a presentation ceremony to receive a Carr Fire memorial plaque. The plaque was designed and donat...ed by MBM Construction owner Johnny Mack. The plaque was made incorporating a SR299 maker which survived the fire. CHP Redding is extremely grateful to have this plaque to remember those whose hard work and dedication for several weeks provided assistance to the residents of Shasta County. The plaque will be proudly displayed in the CHP Redding office. It’s crazy to think a year has already passed since the fire. We are grateful for the great teamwork from all first responders and for the huge support from our local residents! First responders were put to the test during the deadly Carr Fire and banded together to provide the highest level of safety and service! Thank you Redding Police Department, Shasta County Sheriff's Office, CAL FIRE, and all the other first responders agencies! The short presentation ceremony was attended by Action News Now and KRCR News Channel 7, so tune into the local news tonight to see it!
