The wind backed off as the day wore on and the groms were on fire: Shark Boy, Bodhi, Reese, Reuben and Gray after I "made them" get back in.

Hi All, I am offering Early Bird Discount until 4/30/16. A week of summer camp with shuttle and lunch included costs $450 until that time. The rate for summer after 4/30/16 is $650 with shuttle and lunch. We will be running all summer and so far the most impacted week is the week of 8/1-8/5. Camp will be run in a similar fashion as last year, a ton of surfing, great lunch from Parkside or Lunchbox, and all instructors certified in First Aid, CPR and Red Cross Lifesaving. ... Drove off with my Gopro on the bumper the other day, I was bummed that I thought I had lost the shot of Aiden surfing. Two days later I got a call from the Bolinas Community Center. A nice lady said that a guy named Pinetree turned it in. Aiden got his shot, I got my camera back, and Pinetree, you get some karma points. Warmed my crusty heart.

Second Annual Stinson Beach Surf Festival is ON. Saturday, March 12th. Pre-register for the surf contest (U-18) through Livewater Fairfax. (415) 448-5994. Contest is followed by Surf Film Festival at the Stinson Beach Community Center 4-10 pm. More info to follow.

Taking advantage of great fall conditions today. I am running Wednesday after school surfing for Fairfax kids every week and group lessons and birthday parties as well as adult surf lessons. Fall is traditionally regarded as the best time of year to surf in Northern California. Get in touch with me if you want to get a little chunk of this for yourself
