Congratulations to former Blue Buoy student Jason Lezak and his amazing California Condors team for their incredible performances in Budapest winning the International Swimming League Championship this weekend. As general manager he put together an unbeatable team with several world records by Caleb Dressel and several American records by many others as well.

Former Blue Buoy swimmer Tim Heinrich (row 3 3rd from the right in long sleeve white shirt) was a member of the coaching staff. I had the great pleasure of being a BBSS teammate in 1959-60.

2nd generation student Sebastian is off to a great start. His mom, Olympian Jessica Hardy Meichtry learned here as a toddler.

Hard to believe this incredible moment was 12 years ago...Jason learned to swim at Blue Buoy as a 3 year old and his 3 children have learned there as well. "Great beginnings...lead to great finishes!"
