I arrive for this session yesterday to hear the terrifying sounds of the Peacock mating call. Then I see Luna's face. Rugburn right across her forehead and nose. And what do you suppose is the first thing I heard?! "You can Photoshop that right!"... Usually I die a little inside when I hear this but not that day! Of course accidents happen and we cannot predict what the Littles will get into before family sessions. I'm a problem solver and never want to add to the stress of the day! Spent last night with Justin and Irene at Laguna Beach! It was definitely leg day! We walked up and down hilly streets and climbed over rock formations to get to this beautiful spot. Justin is the sweetest and piggyback-carried Irene over the rocks! It was a ton of fun and no one got wet, washed away or lost shoes. lol.

Sneak Peek of Anthony and Jason's Engagement Session at the Mission San Juan Capistrano! I first chatted with Anthony when he left me a comment after filling out my contact form, saying that he was not sure if I would photograph a gay couple because my form said Brides Name and Grooms Name. I was blown away that my words could make someone feel unwelcome. I am so grateful that they he helped me realize my error and I changed my form to Your Name and Fiances Name. Thank you for your cander and your excellent taste in attire. These two are so freaking cute and funny, with excellent travel advise! Ernest and I had a ton of fun with you in this gorgeous location! You guys rocked the shoot and the smoulder.

Ernest and I had so much Fun with these two! Jenn and Shane told us all about their awkward first date kiss attempt and how they laughed about it for an hour after. Well they started their relationship in laughter and kept it going! Jenn, my side hurts from laughing so hard with you! Tell Shane, we watched 300 when we got home!

Natalie is a goddess in these photos! I'm so glad that we were able to get her Milk Bath photographed before baby Jordan arrives. These are crazy times we are living in and photographing with a mask on was waaay sweatier than I expected. But I am happy to do what ever I need to guarantee the safety of my clients. Ernest was also happy to show magic to a live audience.

Yesterday was an adventure! Ernest and I drove out to Joshua Tree to photograph Natalie and Greg in the Airbnb they rented for the weekend. The house was charming and so full of light! But the drive up was a surprise. We didn't know the route would have so many dirt roads. Our GPS did us dirty and navigated us down a dirty road that should have been for off road vehicles only. Our Sedan got stuck in the sand about 2 miles down the road. It was really scary, we had no cell... service and I couldn't imagine a tow truck being able to get to us in time for the shoot. Buuuut we were lucky that a group was out in a dune buggy and they pulled us out of the soft sand. Phew an hour later we finally arrived and got to work. William proposed to Sally at Disneyland. Sleeping Beauty's Castle was being cleared for a performance and William knew it was the perfect time, so he asked a security guard if he could take advantage fo the empty castle courtyard. He was given 5 minutes. He grabbed Sally's hand and whisked her out in front of the crowd. He dropped to one knee and Sally screamed yes! The two kissed as the crowd of on-loookers cheered for them.
