Rapid COVID-19 testing is available free from out-of-pocket charge in Lompoc at the Dick DeWees Community and Senior Center. The testing starts this Thursday, D...ec. 24, and will be available every Thursday through the end of January from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This walk-up testing is offered by Merso Labs in partnership with the City of Lompoc, which is providing use of the DeWees Center as a testing site. Test results are expected to be available in about 15 minutes. Those who have insurance cards should bring them. However, no one will be turned away for lack of insurance. Facial coverings over the nose and mouth are required.
