Meet Ye-Eun and Gowon! Two unlikely sweet girls become best friends at LIFE!! 4 year old Ye-Eun and 3 year old Gowon were both rescued separately from kill shelters before heading to meat farms in Seoul, South Korea. Both girls were flown to LIFE to begin a new life and search for a forever family. They moved in together to keep each other company. Then the fun began! Wrestling... playing, and cuddling in the sun together- they became fast friends. Would anyone open their heart and home to two beautiful best girl friends? This would make their troubled beginnings end in love and compassion for two very precious girls. We would be so grateful! Please share their story!

Meet 12 week old Cobain! He has had a very difficult beginning and we are so grateful that he is alive and here with us. One of our past adopters was visiting her boyfriend in Alabama a couple weeks ago and were out taking their own dog for a walk by a river. The dog pulled to get down to the river and immediately went to a tied up plastic Walmart bag. Inside the bag was Cobain. Thankfully they found him in time as the bag was completely tied shut and he would have suffo...cated had he not been found when he was. When she was ready to fly home, this past adopter got all Cobain's vet checks ready to go and bought a ticket for him under her seat on the plane, and flew him home to Los Angeles. She then reached out to us for help. Sadly, Cobain was born with a congenital defect in his front leg. Some of the bones in his leg near his front elbow were not formed all the way, and he walks with a limp. We have done X Rays and the vet does not feel there is a correction that can be surgically made for it. He is hopeful that once Cobain is full grown, the growth in the leg will continue to help the bones fuse together. There is a good chance though he could always have a limp. He doesn't seem to have pain from this and he jumps and runs around as if nothing is wrong. He is the sweetest most adorable boy!! Super affectionate and loving.
