Next at Long Beach Landmark Theatre Company will be a summertime special event on June 27 Landmark’s Summer Celebration. Details about this event will be forthcoming, but save the date! Landmark’s next major production will be Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins opening October 23 and running into November. A multiple Tony Award-winning theatrical tour-de-force, Assassins combines Sondheim’s signature blend of intelligently stunning lyrics and beautiful music with a panoramic story of our nation’s culture of celebrity and the violent means some will use to obtain it, embodied by America’s four successful and five would-be presidential assassins. Bold, original, disturbing and alarmingly funny, Assassins is perhaps the most controversial musical ever written.

Landmark is proud to be 100% home grown - rooted in the heart of Long Beach. We marvel at the explosive growth we see all around us at the corner of 3rd and Cedar. But we believe that our city needs more than new restaurants and retail and high-rise residential buildings. We need arts and culture. Want to join us this #GivingTuesday in our mission to rise above our status as "the best kept theater secret in town"? Any contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. And on #GivingTuesday Dec 3, Facebook will match a total of $7 million in donations first come, first served. Thank you for your support.
