I'm pleased to announce that I've been appointed as a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's new Diversity Impact Award Committee. Nominations are open until February 25, 2020. The award was established in 2018 to recognize those who have tirelessly sought to increase diversity and inclusion in the practice of law and inspire others to do the same. Sharen H. Ghatan Esq. rocked the first TEN Network meeting she hosted in Westwood. We had a bunch of very talented attorneys at 7 am making new contacts and learning a few things about each other. Carolin Shining attended her first TEN meeting.

This Facebook/Instagram " changing the rules tomorrow" hoax seems to travel around the internet like the chain letters of old. I've seen several posts pop-up this past week, including one from a very smart, very famous trial lawyer! As an IP lawyer who helps people draft the "click through licenses", I can tell you that Facebook and Instagram own everything you post here. I completely respect everyone who does not belong to either.
