Among the homes damaged was the three-room cabin belonging to Mr. and Mrs. O. Gasperoni at Janesville. Susanville Plans Private Natatorium February 8, 1931 Plans have been completed whereby Susanville will soon have a natatorium, costing in the neighborhood of $35,000. S. O. Hansen of Susanville and R. E. Dickinson of Reno, Nevada, have incorporated under the name of Susanville Natatorium and Dickinson will at once dispose of the necessary stock. Hansen has been drilling for some time on his property to find good, pure, warm water, and has at last met with success. The water is 145 degrees temperature.

Six Hours of Freedom After Escaping Lassen Jail February 5, 1928 Joe Walley, in jail here charged with burglary, and also know by many aliases, enjoyed a brief freedom when he climbed out of a window in the basement of the county jail and enjoyed about six hours of freedom. Walley asked permission to take a bath and, going downstairs, he espied an open window through which some wood was being delivered to the jail.
