Día de Muertos Family Celebration Date: Monday, November 02, 2020 Time: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm... Celebra el Día de Muertos con cuentos, música y arte en español y en inglés. No te pierdas a The Lucky Band, a Josué Cuentacuentos, a la galardonada escritora e ilustradora Yuyi Morales y a Eric Gonzalez, creador de Rosita y Conchita. La profesora Blanca Aurora Montes nos hablará sobre el significado de esta hermosa tradición. La Catrina te leerá cuentos, te enseñará cómo pintar tu rostro de calavera, cómo hacer flores cempasúchil y cómo decorar calaveras de azúcar. Sara Mijares de Mundo Maya nos platicará sobre las raíces indígenas de esta celebración. Celebrate Day of the Dead with stories, music and art, in Spanish and English. Don't miss The Lucky Band, Josué Cuentacuentos, award-winning author and illustrator Yuyi Morales, and artist Eric Gonzalez, creator of Rosita & Conchita. The Catrina will read stories and will demonstrate how to paint your face, how to make paper flowers, and how to decorate sugar skulls for your altar.
