WE ARE OPEN for in-person, curbside and tele-health visits. We have made all of the necessary changes to be in compliance with the latest CDC/Santa Clara County guidelines for maximum protection. Some of the changes we have made: Use of masks, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, verbal health screening, limited use of the lobby, instant seating in exam rooms; limited number of staff and patients in our office at one time and much more. WE MISS YOU and look forward to seeing ...you in a safe and healthy way. We are all here!! ~Sandra, Brandon, Jovona, Heidi, Dom and Alejandra.

How to know if your disinfectant is qualified to work on Covid 19? Can't find ethyl/ethanol/isopropyl alcohol based products. There ARE MANY options now approved by the EPA that may not be listed on the product themselves yet. https://www.epa.gov//list-n-disinfectants-use-against-sars Take a look at List N per the EPA. This is the site we are using at our clinic. You can input the EPA code on any product and it will tell you if it's qualified. There are MANY choices... . Also, important to read the amount of time the disinfectant needs to be on the surface. Read the bottle and follow it. Most of the time the surface needs to stay wet a few minutes prior to wiping it off. Other helpful hints from all the Infection control classes I have been taking: Only use hand sanitizer 4-5 times before washing hands with soap and water. After 4-5 times, the "lotion/moisturizer" builds up on your hands and needs to be washed off!. Also, waterless sanitizers still need to rubbed into your hands for 20 seconds. Soap and water is still great option. UV treatment is unconfirmed as a treatment option. Discard expired products as they degrade. BLEACH? Using diluted bleach in your home? You must discard the discarded bleach daily as the dilution with water degrades the disinfectant. Healthcare staff should NOT be wearing their 'scrubs/shoes' outside of any clinic. They should go directly into the wash. This should have been happening with nurses/doctors and hospital staff well before Covid19. Hope that helps! During this shelter-in-place time, we are assisting those with 'essential/urgent' needs. I so appreciate our staff, who although is officially 'furloughed', is willing to come in to assist those with broken hearing aids. Thank you Dr. Cyrus, Dr. Diggs and Heidi for you commitment and caring hearts. We are offering a limited rotational schedule in our Sunnyvale location: Tuesday/Wednesday 10-1pm and Thursday 11-2pm. We are taking every precaution to keep both our patients an...d our staff safe and healthy: curbside service, health screening at the door, single patient in lobby, mailing repairs directly to patients, use of masks, face shields, wipes and gloves etc. Let us know what you feel most comfortable with and we will do our best to serve you. This will be our 'new normal' for quite a while as we slowly open up. Please call or email our office if you need assistance. We are NOT seeing patients for routine clean and checks or hearing tests. Be safe and know that we are here for you ~Dr.Sandra Wendschlag
