A huge victory in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals today. As many of you may remember, my office has been fighting a frivolous lawsuit filed against one of our friends for over two years. From state court to the federal District Court to the federal Court of Appeals, I was confident that we would win this case for him. Despite all of the costs and time and stress of this litigation, we have a ruling this morning that confirms my opinion of this case, from day one. There are ...times when it seems that the American justice system doesn't seem to work well. After 26 years as a lawyer, there are times when I doubt it too, but today I am reminded that we have the best legal system of any country at any point in history. Congratulations to our friend on a major victory for him and his whole family !!!
