Scriptural Food for Friday 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. God does not give us a spirit of fear. He enables us to live bold, loving, and disciplined lives. If you feel you are paralyzed by fear then consider which voices you are giving the most attention. Is your source of information by which you make decisions telling you that you should live under the authority of fear and anxiety? If so... this input goes against God’s word. He wants you to live with freedom and with joy. Consider allowing God’s word to have the more time so that you can live a life that is defined by God’s power and love. Father, thank You for your Holy Word that gives me your power to overcome any fear that might try to attack me, in Jesus Name. Amen

Scriptural Food for Thursday Isaiah 7:14 NLT All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’). Immanuel, this name beautifully sums up the entire gospel message. Immanuel, declares that our BIG God’s desire is to be with us! That the God of Heaven would know what it is to be human and show us His love by sacrificing Himself to save us. Tha...nk you, Immanuel! We are so glad we have a God who’s big story is all about wanting to be with us! Thank You Lord for wanting me and loving me even when I fall short. Amen

Scriptural Food for Wednesday Matthew 9:29 NLT Then he touched their eyes and said, "Because of your faith, it will happen." When you pray to God and ask Him to fulfill a need, are you only just asking? If you look back on all the prior times God has provided and blessed you, then when you pray your attitude will be as if He has already provided for your need. You see, faith is not just only asking for something and hoping it will happen, it is believing that God will prov...ide a way.
