As clubs around the nation reopen, USA Fencing is committed to implementing an events schedule for the 2020-21 season that allows for the return to competition ...in four phases, focusing first on local events and progressing to regional and national events as it becomes safe to do so. Laguna Fencing Center is pleased to announce that Nick Kovalev will be joining our coaching staff as a full time coach. Nick Kovalev is a 3 time Olympian and bronze medalist at the 2012 London Olympic Games. He is also a 5 time World Champion and a 5 time European Champion. Coach K holds a Master's Degree from the National State University of Physical Education in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Coach K will bring his competitive winning attitude to the center, and will be leading ...our Elite and Advanced programs. He will be available for private lessons Monday through Saturday. Please join us in welcoming Coach Kovalev to our center!
