EXPERIENCE NEW AND RADICAL WAYS OF LEARNING MUSIC... The Junior Rockers Music Center (JRMC) was founded to establish a music boot camp, to teach and train students of all ages, with special emphasis on children and teens. We are now accepting new students. Classes are organized according to age range. We currently use Zoom for studio groups or personal home visits. Our teaching is grounded on performance-based conventions interspersed with a formal pedagogy so that students can experience music from a wide spectrum. Each of our Private Music Instructors will ensure that students achieve their fullest creative potential in a safe and secure environment, which can be both enjoyable and inspiring. The JRMC’s preferred musical styles are pop-rock, classic rock, praise and worship, blues, jazz, hip-hop, and EDM. We will also teach the precepts of the marching band as well as classical orchestral music. Our current curriculums include instructions in acoustic, electric and bass guitar, traditional and digital keyboards, multiple percussion instruments, violin, cello, clarinet and various woodwind instruments, the saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, French horn, the harp, the ukulele, harmonica, marimba, conducting, audio production, deejaying, sound engineering, dance, music theater, vocals and songwriting. EMILIO CORRALES JRMC Private Music Instructor Conducting, Marimba Various Percussion... Emilio Corrales is a multi-talented musician that has been playing percussion since he was 12 years old. Originally self-taught, he later studied at Fullerton College where he earned his Associate's degree in Music Performance. He then completed his Bachelor's of Music Education at California State University Los Angeles, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Most recently he completed his single-subject teaching credential in music at the Charter College of Education at CSULA. Emilio has been teaching percussion for all levels and ages for the past three years throughout the Los Angeles and Orange Country areas. He specializes in teaching drum-set, world drums, hand percussion and orchestral percussion which includes marimba, snare drum, and timpani. Emilio also specializes in teaching Orchestra and Concert Band, in which he also conducts. His playing experience includes touring the U.S. and Europe for the ska band Chase Long Beach, playing alongside acts such as Reel Big Fish, The Aggrolites, and Streetlight Manifesto. He has also played for the Orange County Wind Symphony, Shoreline Symphonic Winds, Olympia Youth Orchestra, and the Bellflower Orchestra. His philosophy of music education is centered on the idea of creating a positive learning environment where all students can develop genuine music skills while also becoming life-long lovers of music, no matter their background.

Born & Raised in Hawaii she was immersed in the culture of singing and dancing from a young age. She toured with a choir to France, England, China, Italy and performed in Carnegie Hall. ... She moved to Hollywood after graduating high school and received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts Musical Theater from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. ADI BEN YEHUDA JRMC Private Music Instructor Saxophone Adi ben Yehuda is a saxophonist, composer and band leader based in Los Angeles. Acquiring a sound foundation in Jazz, Adi expands his musical reach to genres such as Funk, Rock, R&B, EDM and traditional Northern African music. His large musical spectrum allows him to not only provide innovative value to various projects but to also pass on his knowledge to up and coming generations.... Adi balances his busy schedule between studio sessions, live shows, his own project (LATECH) and of course teaching. He is a band member in a variety of projects such as Colin Hay (Men at Work) Josephe e-shine, Waking Jericho, Fehn Ben-chemsi Gnawa. In addition, Adi serves as a regular member and arranger of the famous Ultimate Jam Night at the Whiskey a Go Go. Adi holds a BA in Saxophone Performance from the Jerusalem Academy of Music. Teaching plays a very important role in Adi’s life and over the last 8 years he led school music divisions and bands to excellent results with great satisfaction. .

TAL VAKNINE JRMC Private Music Instructor Harp Tal Vaknine is a classically-trained harpist based in Los Angeles. She balances a busy schedule as a recording artist, performer, and teacher. She's a graduate from the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem.... Tal was born in Jerusalem, Israel, and began to study the harp when she was 7 years old with the well-known harpist, Irina Kaganovsky. Tal Won the Israeli Harp Competition and was the first Harpist to receive a scholarship from the Veron Foundation. Tal is a winner of the American-Israel Culture Foundation (2009-2013). She performed as a soloist with many orchestras such as: Symphonic Planet, The National Orchestra of Cyprus, the modern orchestra Castle in Time, the Tel Aviv Chamber orchestra, and others Tal preformed in many places around the world, such as the Vatican (Italy), Saban Theatre (Beverly Hills, CA), and Heichal Hatarbut (Tel Aviv, Israel). Tal is also an experienced harp instructor. Over the years, she taught harp in the Conservatory of Academy of Music in Jerusalem, at elementary school Paula Ben Gurion as a private and ensembles harp instructor.

YU HAN JRMC Private Music Instructor Traditional Piano and Digital Keyboards... Yu Han is a talented pianist, composer, and experienced instructor. She received her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Tianjin Normal University and a Master’s degree in Music Production from the Academy of Art University. In recent years, she took part in many musical performances. She acted as the art director of the concert many times and had always been the music director of the school choir. Also, Yu has scored an impressive number of films, animations, and documentaries, like 1cm, Outsider, Insomnia. Her works in multiple capacities with many different music styles, from film scoring, classical, and avant-garde to pop, jazz, and Chinese traditional music. As an accomplished music instructor and piano teacher with more than 8 years of experience instructing students in instrumentation and general music theory, she having a good understanding of classical music and electronic music. Her very first students are now professional students from leading music universities in China.

JARED STORZ JRMC Private Music Instructor Cello Jared Storz recently completed his Master’s Degree in Cello Performance at Azusa Pacific University after completing both a Bachelor’s Degree in Cello Performance and Humanities degree in 2018. Prior to his time at Azusa, Jared studied with Seattle Symphony cellist Walter Gray, and had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with both principal Chicago Symphony cellist Stephen Balderston and renown cello soloist Joshua R...oman. Jared studied at Azusa Pacific under the exceptional guidance of cellist Dr. Marek Szpakiewicz DMA, and has had the opportunity to study solo, orchestral, and chamber works. In his Freshman and Junior years, Jared performed Bach’s 1st and 6th suites in collaborative Bach concerts with Midori Goto and her University of Southern California violin studio. As a member of numerous chamber ensembles, Jared performed acclaimed chamber works. He has also studied with notable chamber coaches including Ingrid Chun and Suli Xue of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and has performed in a chamber masterclass under the guidance of Karen Dryfus from USC and former New York Philharmonic concertmaster Glenn Dicterow. In 2019, Jared had the opportunity to perform in a solo masterclass given by Dariusz Skoraczewski, the principal cellist for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his classical training, Jared has also had the privilege of working throughout Los Angeles as a performing and recording artist. Alongside playing for weddings and events in strings quartets and as a soloist, Jared has also performed in live shows, including J. Michael O’Neal’s "Experience Music Project." Furthermore, he has recorded in numerous projects at independent studios throughout L.A. and has taken part in professional music videos. In his free time, Jared loves to collaborate with friends on musical projects and practice his skills as an audio engineer. He also enjoys embarking on hikes around the San Gabriel Valley and spreading an eternal love of music.
