Maple Students, good luck on your first day back to school!! Just a reminder, tutoring starts on August 24th and mentoring starts on August 25th!

Through Zoom mentoring, it's been awesome to see our students & mentors maintain their relationships with another one, learn from one another, and affirm one another. Our virtual gala's closing video features words of affirmation between some of our students & their mentors. Mentoring continues with our Maple students on August 25th & with Garnet students on September 16th! Congratulations to Gabby, who recently received the Leon Owens Foundation Scholarship! Gabby has worked very hard throughout high school and has contributed so much time, effort, and care to JOYA Scholars and her peers. We know she will do great as she starts at CSUF this month and as she begins her journey to being a doctor. Go Gabby!
