we continued on to State Championship last weekend (Sunday/Monday) and finished 5th. First day nerves but played better on Monday; but so did everyone else!!! Ranked 5th in the State is something to be proud of among community college women's golf teams. Modesto City won the event, followed by Sierra College, Santa Barbara CC and Canada College. Very proud of the ladies!

Congratulations to the 2017 Cuyamaca College women's golf team for winning the PCAC conference title for the second year in a row. Team members: Leanna Mena, Kenna Caricato, Stephanie Ksiazek, Emily Weber, Jayden Hays, and Lizette Arteaga; these ladies clinched the title at Menifee Lakes CC this past Wednesday against College of the Desert, Mt, San Jacinto College and Palomar College

Now celebrating my 40th year teaching individuals with disabilities to play golf! These years have been a learning experience in patience and creativity! But th...e best part is meeting all the wonderful people and watching them rebuild their lives, using golf as the tool to do so. Thank you to all the therapists who have been part of the treatment team over the years, Especially those individuals at Alvarado Hospital/SDRI, Sharp Grossmont Hospital Rehabilitation Center, and Sharp Memorial Hospital Rehabilitation Center. Hi San Diego friends and golf professionals: As of February 2015 I have become the men's and women's golf coach at Cuyamaca College! If you know of any high school girls who want to continue their golf in college, please contact me! We travel Southern California by van and have lots of fun! Good competition also!!

Tomorrow is our inaugural Just Fore Fun Invitational. We hit our goal of 40 players and may go over by tomorrow. Waiting on a couple of more responses!! Entry fee is $40 plus a bottle of wine. Wine to be opened on course, with cheese and crackers, and chips and salsa!! This group started out as a ladies group, no men allowed. The men found out how much fun the ladies were having and asked their wives and significant others if they could join. We said "yes" as long as they didn't "nag" the ladies about their golf!! Great group of people and we do have a lot of fun!!

This artwork was given as a T-prize to all 120 participants of the SoCal Rehab Golf Classic hosted by Alvarado Hospital/San Diego Rehabilitation Center in San Diego, CA.. This was our 10th Anniversary commemorative piece of art. The original artwork hangs in the lobby of the hospital.

I am totally enjoying golf again with my new fitted Wilson Staff FG irons and D100 woods. Great to be back on Wilson Golf Company's advisory staff. I was on their staff in the '80's and early '90's. My set also includes a 1 iron from my 1980 set. 33 years difference between clubs! Still a great piece of equipment! They have resurfaced as a top brand, picking up from years ago!
