Per the DO School is cancelled for the rest of this week. There is a possibility school could resume depending on how the week goes. Please follow Jamul-Dulzura Usd and Jamul Elementary School for updates. Please reach out to the school if you need any assistance during this time. If you or your family have been impacted by the Valley Fire, they want to know and help! The district has offered the use of their guest WiFi network for anyone who needs to access internet. PM ...us if you need the password, it was mentioned on the all call that went out earlier today but we know phone service is bad so please reach out if you need help with it. Please stay safe

Hello Mustang families!! We hope you have had a safe (yet still fun) summer! All of us on PTA, as you know, are parents. The upcoming year has so many new challenges for us personally and as an organization so we have made the decision to take this year off to give us all time and energy to adjust to what is the new normal. Exciting news! Those of us not moving on with older students are taking on the transition of our little group from a state and national level branch to an... independent non-profit organization so that we are better able to meet the needs of our kids and community. In a nutshell we will be changing from a PTA to a PTO. A lot of work will be happening over the next few months to make all that happen so that when we are back together, we will be better than ever!! If you are interested in ways you can help the school or district, please reach out to us, your teachers, Mrs. McCalmont in the office or Mrs. Robinson! Many of us have been on PTA or working with the school for many years, and a few of us are moving onto Oak Grove, so help is desperately needed to keep it going strong! If you are interested in being a part of our parent organization we are a low key group of ladies (and one dad!) so know you are welcome, we value you and want to know what you would like to see happening at our school! Thanks for your support, know that we are with you during this time and if there is anything we can do to help you, drop us a line!

Don’t forget our fabulous Food Service ladies are working hard to deliver great food for free to all those under 18 years of age! Stop by, say hello and grab a meal!
