Once again I must share that another Interim family member has passed away. Our dear friend Becky Erwin passed away this morning after a good fight against cancer. Becky was one of our caregivers and had been with us since 2006, she was known and loved for her feistiness and sheer dedication to all she cared for. Becky was instrumental with Cheryl Clayton building the volume of clients we have at Arcadia Place in Vista, where she cared for many through the course of a day for... our Rose Program, with stop by visits. This picture was taken at Arcadia Place when Becky came to visit with Cheryl and Kristen, after she had stopped working. Becky was honored as Employee of the Month, recognized for her attendance, and commitment. Cheryl Clayton, is closest to Becky and her family, and was able to speak to Becky over the weekend. Becky's daughter had let Cheryl and I know on Facebook posts that Becky was comfortable, and we reached out to the family. Becky has 2 daughters, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. We are sending prayers of love, comfort and support to them. Becky was able to make plans and we can all smile as Cheryl has shared that Becky's ashes will be carried on a harley davidson, as was her exact wish!!! At this point we are not aware of service arrangements, but will share them when possible. Special thoughts go to any of our employees who worked closely with and loved Becky- Cheryl Clayton has lost a friend, and Kristen has lost someone who would tease her lovingly. Cheryl and Kristen will always feel Becky's presence at Arcadia Place!!! Thanks for everyone's suppoort and prayers.
