In 2005, Benjamin-Thorfinn went to Oldenburg, Germany to pursue an apprenticeship in Dental Technology. Having successfully completed this three-and-half year program, he returned to Halifax, Canada in 2009 to join the family owned and operated team at Mueller's Dental Arts Laboratory Inc. Since then, he completed his RDT exams in 2012 and works in all areas of Dental Technology where he plays a key role in providing knowledge and support to clients and patients. Benjamin-Thorfinn has a great interest in developing new ways of fusing old school technologies with the new, especially in the areas of ceramics and full arch hybrids. He enjoys teaching via courses at the lab and lectures for different companies and study clubs. His free time is spent with his wife and two boys and tending to his vegetable garden and bees.
