River came to us after he was found starving in a riverbed - because of this, he understandably does NOT want to share his food with anybody, and should not go to a household with young children. This week’s $5 Friday goes out to Jay. He came to FDR in horrible condition from the Central Valley. Jay has demodex and a double ear infection, and has been seen by our vet. Jay is recovering peacefully at the rescue and is getting medicated baths for his skin. We also trimmed his very long nails. Please donate what you can! Although he’s a little older he still loves to run and play, and of course he loveslate night cuddles. Rocky would do best in an experienced household that is prepared to commit to training and help him learn his manners. Hi I’m Stella and I’m available for adoption. I am a sweet girl who loooove cuddles! I am potty trained and I have great leash manners but when I see a squirrel I can get a bit excited. If you tell me be nice then I stay put. I enjoy hikes and playing ‘I chase you and you chase me’ at the local park. I am well behaved and I understand sit, come here, wait, jump, no, sleepy sleepy (which means I should go to my bed at night), be nice and touch. Oh and I smile and laugh when... I am super happy! I am a bit shy at first when I don’t know you but I warm up quickly and then I will give you loads of cuddle time, you have no idea. I don’t like to be away from my favorite hooman but my foster mom worked with me on separation anxiety. I made good progress pretty quickly so if you are willing to work with me than I will do better and better. Come meet me, we are going to have so much fun!!!
