Dear Friends and Patrons, We sincerely thank you for your patience, kinds words, and encouragement via email and voicemails messages, during this unfortunate closure. Aside from prior delays due to insurance and prior contractors, our building is dated. We had issues with planning the repair of our damaged wall and needed revisions of architectural plans to bring everything to code for fire and safety. We finally have good news! We got approved with the city’s planning dep...artment last Friday and got our work permit yesterday to begin the actual repairs. We are grateful that we are making real progress. As mentioned in prior updates, we can only wait, but the estimated amount of physical labor is about 2 working weeks. If all things go smoothly, hopefully we can be officially open and running by the end of the year or the start of the new year. Please stay tuned! We will update you as soon as we hear of an official date! Sorry again for the inconvenience and we miss everyone and the patrons that wanted to come try us during this closure! Dear Friends and Patrons, We are still CLOSED due to renovations for mandatory building updates. Our progress has been delayed again. We are still waiting for a walk through with the city of Mountain View for the second construction phase to be approved. The contractors are currently waiting for a permit to proceed with walk through to approve of the structural repair. If our building repairs for our ceiling and wall do not require engineering, they are estimating another 1-...2 months to re-open. We were told by the contractor that it is not likely to need engineering, to sister in the new wall with existing foundation. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please check back with us by phone or online for updates and re-opening date. Sorry we do not have definitive answers but only estimated time frames. It has been completely out of our control. Dear Friends and Patrons, Unfortunately we had a sudden last minute notice for building renovations. We are occupying an old building and have corroded infrastructure that are getting restored. Starting Monday April 22nd we will be closed for 2-3 weeks. Please check back for re-opening date mid May.... So sorry for the inconvenience. Sincerely, Andy
