In a recent report by the Terner Center for Housing Innovation, California renters still struggle to pay rent as counties re-opens. Nearly 55% of renters and 40% of homeowners have experienced a loss of employment since March. Center on Budget and Policy Priorities released an analysis on new data reporting that 1 in 3 adults had trouble paying for household expenses for the last seven days. This is especially acute for Latinx, Black, and Asian households.
