So I grabbed the dietary guidelines from our school district's website & I just want everyone to see how ridiculous these guidelines are to implement when our student breakfast & lunches are over 80-90% sugar! Stop writing policies without having the guts to stand up to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, who through its Food and Nutrition Service, administers the National School Lunch Program at the federal level. Our kids deserve better! You have the budget and yet you con...sciously decide that these choices are acceptable nutritional options for growing bodies and brains! Shame on you! DO BETTER!
