One of my favorite past HomeWorx projects...total remodel of a two-room guest bathroom...we torn down the wall separating the sinks from the tub/shower and toilet. Installed a tube skylight and 2 silent fans on an electronic timer since this room does not have a window. Redid all plumbing and electrical including LED recessed lighting, outlets with built-in LED night lights, ceiling mount shower head with handheld wand, river rock custom shower pan, custom subway tile with ...glass mosaic, custom glass enclosure. We purchased an old dresser from the Long Beach antiques flea market, and converted it into a custom vanity cabinet with Silestone quartz top. Also used the same quartz for a shelf and a shower seat. Installed matching vessel sinks. Custom built the corner cabinet above toilet utilizing a vanity mirror door from a 1920's era house. Also built a custom picture frame enclosure from an old window I salvaged from an old dairy ranch house in the cerritos area.. All tile throughout is distressed wood-look porcelain tile planks. 100% of the work (including design and layout) was completed by my helper and I, with the exception of quartz countertop fabrication, and shower glass enclosure installation. I love how this one turned out! See more

Rebuilding the decorative trim on these patio cover posts in Lakewood...unfortunately, the old trim was made with wood meant for interior use, so they rotted out prematurely (the posts were pressure-treated 4x4's and were structurally fine)..the new trim is all exterior-grade vinyl, so they should last a long, long time! Still need to caulk and paint, to be continued!

A big part of the fun I have with my business is being able to share in my customers' unique vision for their home...here we did a partial bathroom remodel, and rebuilt a shower wall, installing frosted glass blocks for natural light, and a tilt vent window for ventilation...the cool thing, this is an interior wall and on the other side is the family room! The homeowner has a very unique and daring personality, so the project was a success, and the window can certainly be a conversation starter when there is a party in the house and the window is open! Also added custom shower door design for even more fun!

This was a early 1950's house in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach. My customers purchased the home from the original owners, who had not done much to it since the 60's. We remodeled every room of the house, including the removal of 3-5 layers of wallpaper from almost every wall in the house. Complete kitchen remodel, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, dining room, and 3 bedrooms. Master suite walk-in closet design and build. New lighting and plumbing, replaced or refinished flooring. This project took 3 1/2 months, and was solely completed by my small crew and I.

A side venture of HomeWorx is a custom-designed skateboard ramp builder appropriately called RampWorx. We have designed and built many ramps for private and commercial/municipal use. This was a 4ft high x 4ft wide dual quarter pipe project that was a Christmas morning surprise for a customer's son. The ramps could be set side by side to make an 8ft wide ramp, or set up opposing to make a completely mobile half pipe!
