We have some New Developments in the understanding of fascia as a functional component to motion. "Dysfunctional" motion (which usually presents as pain, stiffness, weakness and diseases) cannot be treated with a successful outcome from therapies which focus on a simple isolation of anatomic structures, who just happen to be screaming with pain, inflammation, weakness or disease at the moment. We as therapists need to see the body as a complex design of intricately woven pi...eces. Based on these images, it is obvious how a disease labeled "plantar fasciitis" can be a result of something else above it in the complicated web of muscles and connective tissues. "Low back pain" might just be from above or below pulling, twisting and thus straining what's in the middle. Headaches...hmm...look at everything pulling down on the back of the head. Let's begin to think outside the box and come at pain, weakness, limited function and disease from a new perspective. See more

I have to report that we were broken into last Friday evening. Creeps broke two front windows, then stole my laptop and a bag of candy...ridiculous! Rosie's laptop, inventory of purses and other products were cleaned out. It sucks that our town is being victimized by this kind of senseless violence.
