She had us think of three emotions/thoughts/feelings that we have been carrying around this year . Place those feelings into your shadow standing behind you and then take steps toward the new year while leaving those emotions behind in that shadow that you will be shedding. Our state board licensing covers sanitation extensively . I took the latest California practice exams and I passed 100% - I took my original exams in 1986 . I have certified with Barbicide as well - the chemistry hasn’t changed in all these years - I passed that 100% . All these years later , and I can still remember all my sanitatio...n chemistry. Salon Republic has taken extreme measures to follow the new guidelines and created a new protocol that we all must follow. My HVAC system in my room is so powerful that just spraying water on the hair - whatever mist is created goes straight up into the intake immediately. If we can travel on a airplane at full capacity and that is acceptable currently - why can’t salons be open? We are infinitely more sanitary . Small businesses are shutting down daily ,Gavin . Thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered their backyards, patios and carports. The solution offered by Governor Newsom and the State Board of Barbering & Cosmetology is problematic at best. My suite and the Salon Republic building offer a sanitized and safe indoor environment with an HVAC system that pulls up even water misted onto hair into its intake systems. There is no way to keep an outdoor environment sanitary or cool enough for the bare minimum of dry hai...rcuts which is all we are allowed to do. I will remain closed throughout this latest shutdown. I will miss all of you. I have product options for shipment and I also have all of my affiliate sites where you can get your products if needed. I sent out an email earlier today as well.
