Family provides a patient emotional support and love, contributes to decision-making, communicates patient needs & conditions, assists the health-care team in providing care, improves patient safety & quality of care. The role of family is especially vital to pediatric patients who are not capable of voicing their needs and advocating for themselves. Yet for many families, t...he struggle to be present for their young children is enormous. It's critical that EVERY family be able to care for their sick children and their siblings during life-altering circumstances. HoldYou exists to help remove these barriers that far too many families experience, so that all children are given the best possible chance to be restored to full health.
