There’s a new red head in town. This lucky gal came to me wanting to color her hair for the first time in years. Prior to today, she’s only had highlights done and that was about a year ago. Her goal was to go red, but a color that was complimentary to her skin tone and wasn’t too loud. We wanted to approach this the healthier route so we opted out on using any lightener and did a global color application. I used 3 different color formulas to give her color a seamless... blend. Color formula . To create a rich, natural, dimensional color you need to formulate different tones. Here you’ll notice I have 3 formulas for 1 head. Why? Because your hair isn’t the same from root to tip. . Gorgeous haircolor doesn’t come from over the counter box color, this is why one formula doesn’t fit all. .... . Natural ginger. Kicking myself in the but for not taking a before photo, but here’s the after video. . prior to this, she hadn’t colored her hair in over a year and before then she had highlights done.
