It has more germs than a public toilet seat and it's in YOUR car!

COVID-19 reminders: The most important thing you can do to help us keep all our children, teachers and family safe is to follow the Stay Home Order rules, do not socialize with others outside of your household, wear a mask and practice social distancing when out of your home, quarantine if you or anyone in your family has been in contact with anyone known to be infected, and to self check your entire family every evening and morning and keep everyone home if anyone in your h...ousehold shows any symptoms or is sick in anyway. And remember, if you had or attended any sort of Thanksgiving gathering (outside the people you live with) please stay in contact with your fellow party goers to make sure no one has any symptoms or confirmed COVID-19 cases. If they do, you and your family must quarantine and test. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! If all is good, we will see you soon! MASK UP! :)

Yes, we are safely open and will stay safely open. The Regional Stay Home Order does not require closure of Halsey Schools or other schools, childcare or daycare programs. We continue to follow the same safety procedures and protocols we have been following since our reopening. All our safety measures assume, regardless of the current COVID-19 rates..., that our community is in the most restrictive purple tier and the Stay Home Order is in effect. Remember children 2 years an...d older MUST wear a mask and have at least one backup at school in a sealed bag at all times. Parents should have extras in the car too. :) The most important thing you can do to help us keep all our children, teachers and family safe is to follow the Stay Home Order rules, do not socialize with others outside of your household, wear a mask and practice social distancing when out of your home, quarantine if you or anyone in your family has been in contact with anyone known to be infected, and to self check your entire family every evening and morning and keep everyone home if anyone in your household shows any symptoms or is sick in anyway. If they do, you and your family must quarantine and test. Please check today and for at least 10 days after your gathering before sending your child to school. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! We will see you soon! MASK UP! :)

Yes, we are safely open and will stay safely open. Whenever you hear about safer at home or other COVID-19 restrictions, remember we are an essential service. If grocery stores remain open, we are open. :) There are no plans or expectations that essential services will be required to close or modify the current COVID-19 guidelines we are following. We just finished our regular conference call with Robert Gilchick at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health where ...he reiterated Halsey Schools is an essential service and will not be required to shut down as part of any more restrictive COVID-19 protocols for individuals or non-essential services. We are here for you and your children. :) https://childcareheroes.org/parents-and-caregivers/
