There’s a lot of reward giving an animal a positive grooming start from a young age. I see Cleo now every 4 weeks and she is already running with joy into my grooming van

I imagine none of us like seeing a pet injured but I have seen 3 cats over the last month with toenails grown into their pads. As cats age and develop joint pain they are less likely to shed their toenail growth on scratching posts etc. As a result the toenails grow thick and long, if left unchecked they can as pictured here grow around and into their own pad causing pain, injury, and likely infection. Please get your cat used to toenail trimming from a young age and check their feet at least once a month to ensure this does not happen to them. #catsneedgroomingtoo

What a hot week, thank goodness for air conditioning! Ended my workweek grooming sweet Olive, the Ragamuffin cat, who has a wine named after her. Too cute not to share, have a good weekend everyone
