Our SFRS members have graciously contributed photographs of the roses growing in their gardens, in lieu of showing in an open, public space. Please click on an image to learn more about each rose. Enjoy!! On our home page choose "Events/Classes/Seminars" and select "2020 Virtual Rose Show." www.sfrosesociety.org.

Two David Austin roses -- first bloom in my yard. "Evelyn" (peach and light burgundy) and "L.D. Braithwaite" (crimson/burgundy). Both are just superb and healthy plants. It's raining now in Northern California, and that is great news for roses!

Bittersweet. We'd planned to participate as a local flower society with a special lecture this month. We've postponed the presentation to the fall, if all goes well. The talk will be about roses grown in San Francisco in the later 19th C., sponsored by the San Francisco Rose Society.
