Get involved and invite your neighbors to take this 3-min survey and help make biking and walking safer in Santa Cruz County! Over the next two years, the County of Santa Cruz will create the first Active Transportation Plan for unincorporated areas of the county. The Active Transportation Plan will provide a roadmap for future improvements for walking and bicycling in areas like Davenport, Live Oak, Aptos, Rio Del Mar and the Green Valley corridor, with the goal of making it... safer, easier, and more fun to walk and bike in your neighborhood. Visit Ecology Action's project website https://ecoact.org/poweredbyme/ and use the Street Story map to share your ideas for new projects, and about any hazards, crashes, near misses, or safe places that you've experienced while walking or bicycling in unincorporated Santa Cruz County. The survey is available in English and Spanish (scroll down the page and take a quick 3-minute survey).
