The homes are normally located within walking distance of the treatment facility or have transportation available. They talked about bylaws, membership etc...It was informative, educational and interesting! They have a fabulous guest speaker who spoke about Heifer International. We had an exciting, productive Woman’s Club of Oceanside general meeting presided by our amazing President Rose Orbon Teding. Kristi Hawthorne the President of Oceanside Historical Society & OCC Director of Community events was our dynamic speaker who spoke about the possibility of making our clubhouse a historical building and the history of the club. One can see her passion about history and her enthusiasm was infectious. We were happy to listen to her and learn. What used ...to be a mundane city became alive when she spoke about the history. Thank you Kristi for coming to be our guest speaker. You were awesome. Craft Fair is fast approaching on Saturday October 17, 2020 9Am-1pm at 1606 Missouri Ave., Oceanside, CA. We look forward to seeing you all. We also announced about the ChiliCook to be held on Saturday November 14, 2020 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (tentative schedule) at 1606 Missouri Ave., Oceanside, CA.
