Can you believe it's only one more week until the start of our virtual fundraiser Walk, Ride, Run for GAIT? We wanted to take a moment to answer some frequently asked questions: - Where is this event being held? This is a fully virtual event that you can complete any time during the month of May. ... - When does registration close? Registration closes April 30th if you would like a guarantee to receive a GAIT event t-shirt and sticker. - Do I have to ride to participate? No! We have included a 10k walk/run option so you can join us on your favorite walking trail with your friends and family. - 10K or 10-Miles is a little too long for me to complete in one outing, do we have any other options? Take your time and go at your pace, you can complete the miles any time during the month of May over multiple days. -How much of the registration fee goes to supporting GAIT? 100% of the $50 registration fee goes to supporting our program! -Is Pony Up for GAIT happening fall of 2021? No, Pony Up for GAIT has been canceled this year due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. We hope to see you all in person soon, but we hope that you show your support for GAIT and join us for this special event that keeps therapeutic riding alive and thriving in Temecula. Togetherness. With every lesson, we relearn how much stronger we are together. Not only through the bond our students experience with our horses, but how much stronger we are when we combine the efforts of our volunteers, instructors, and donors. It is only through the combined efforts of everyone who touches GAIT that we are able to work towards our goal to enrich the lives of children and young adults through horse and farm animal interaction. In this challenging year, we thank you all for coming together to support Green Acres Interactive Therapy.

Growth. Ashley found her passion for horses by watching them out of the car window. After experiencing seizures at four months old, Ashley has developmental delays that make communication difficult. What she can clearly express though is her love and passion for horseback riding. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to grow and develop a program with our students. While watching this video, you can see Ashley light up at the mention of horses and our instructors. These... moments of happiness show how much growth we have had in Ashley's ability to express joy at the mentions of the things that she loves. Change. Emery was born with Cerebral Palsy and joined our GAIT Family at five years old. When she first joined us, she was unable to support her head, but through her lessons, her trunk strength has increased tremendously. The changes that we see in our clients over just a few short months is remarkable. These changes are not always just physical as they gain strength, but also changes in how they interact with our staff and horses and they get to know GAIT more....
