Yesterday was the last day for our Program Assistant Mayra here at Families Uniting Families. From Tutor to Program Assistant, Mayra has been with Families Uniting Families for 8 years. She recently graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a Masters of Social Work and will now be a Social Worker for DCFS. You will be truly missed here at Families Uniting Families. We are excited for what the future has for you and wish you nothing but the best! Families Uniting Families loves you!

Last Friday was the last day for our FCSW Jennifer here at Families Uniting Families. She has beem with Families Uniting Families for 7 years. Within those 7 years of being an amazing Foster Care Social Worker, she dedicated here time helping and advocating for her clients and families. She will be truly missed but we are excited to see what her future holds as a therapist. We wish you the best Jennifer! Families Uniting Families loves you!

In honor of Foster Care Awareness we would like to congratulate one of our foster youth who graduated high school. Even though she could not have a traditional graduation ceremony because of covid-19, the foster family and her loved ones made there own graduation ceremony for her. #fostercareawarenessmonth

With all that is going on with the world right now, would like to give a shout out to our foster care social workers and case managers for continuously doing an amazing job. Social work month is not just March, it is year round. Thank you to all medical and health professionals being on the front lines during this time.
