I’m a neutered male 1 yr & 8 month shepherd mix, searching for a loving, indoor home with an experienced owner who can help teach me to be the best boy ever! Here is the shelter’s plea for me: Charlie is a wonderful guy who’s only problem is being big and not knowing. Also cat’s, he doesn’t like cats. He’s like a great big puppy that has no manners, wants to be in your arms, in y...our face, all over you. He does like to play fetch, especially the chasing part, but he will bring back at time. He sits and takes treats well. When we did his temp test, he was forward and dominant (see temp test video below in comments) He needs some training for manners. He’s a good boy, he just needs someone to take a chance on him. He’s been here since March 13th. Please help him. He’s had no interest from the public.save Charlie! Cookie & Candy came in together. Candy needs surgery and both girls are seeking rescue so Candy's surgical needs can be tended to and they will have a foster home to recuperate in.. and that is where you are needed. Rescues need committed, long term fosters to provide temporary homes for dogs until they find their forever home as rescues typically do not have brick & mortar facilities. Please contact the Friends of Moreno Valley Facebook page via the message button on our wall if you are willing to foster these girls for a rescue. All medical expenses are paid for by the rescue. Offered more wet food and dog was able to get up and stand to get to food bowl. Began eating voraciously again. Besides head tilt dog appeared normal. Very quiet. Dr. S noted yesterday to hold off an vaccines for a few days. Ddp 10/23/20 Brought to clinic. Dog has an obvious head tilt to the left. PLRs intact. CPLs intact. Otherwise no wounds indicating any trauma and dog appears otherwise healthy. Head tilt- RO vestibular (idiopathic, trauma, or other) vs. central (brain neoplasia, trauma, other) rx: prednisone- 10mg- 1/2 PO SID x7d, 1/2 EOD x4d Monitor ability to eat and drink and monitor for improvement of signs. Recheck if not improving after a few days. Recommend rescue for neuro eval. NS 10/23/20 14:02 Took straight to vet, significant head tilt. Was found in a ditch. Dog ate/drank water vigorously.
