Southwest Officers kicked-off the new school year at the Boys & Girls Club by celebrating International Youth Day. Special thanks to McDonald’s for donating sporting equipment and other much needed items to the center. #YouthDay
End of Summer Fun! The past 8 weeks at Frank H. Ball have been a blast. We wrapped up the last event with swimming, food and activities. THANK YOU to Anthem Blue Cross and all of our sponsors and partners that helped support this event. This summer we’ve served nearly 3000 community membershope their summer was as memorable as ours. Can’t wait until next year!
Southwest Officers spent time and served up snow cones at the Mary Ella Brown Center end of summer swim party. What a great time!

Southwest Officers and Fresno Police Activities League (PAL) selected Cecil C. Hinton Center as their second site. Yesterday we launched the opening of the new boxing gym and computer/media center. This center will give young people in nearby neighborhoods an educational resource and will provide an opportunity for fitness, boxing and other activities. Nearly 30 young people participated in the 1st boxing session led by Sergeant Brian Williams. Families and friends also enjoyed a community BBQ and other activities. Come out and join the 2nd boxing session today!

What a great night! Southwest Officers, Fresno PARCS and Fresno PAL kicked off the 2nd annual Good Times Are Back at Frank H. Ball Neighborhood Park. Over 600 kids and families enjoyed a community BBQ, youth league basketball games, Swimming, E-Sports Videos Game Challenge, music, Movie in the Park and other special attractions. Captain Salazar and Fresno PAL would like to thank all of the sponsors and partners that helped support this event, especially Anthem Blue Cross.
What a great day to kickstart summer break. Southwest Officers joined families and friends at the Family Carnival hosted by Fresno Housing Authority at Maud and California. Over 500 people attended and had a great time!
