There will be a CSF Bake Sale on Tuesday, Nov. 20. All proceeds will go toward the American Red Cross Relief for Sandy Victims. Make sure to stop by and enjoy a variety of treats!

Congratulations to our CSF lifetime members! We had a great time tonight at the dinner... the junior's did a fantastic job planning the event! Everyone had a great time, it seemed, and dressed very Hawaiian :) Loved it! Next stop... GRADUATION!!!

From Mrs. Sargent: "My sincerest thanks to all of you who worked so willingly and diligently to make today's Cuatro de Mayo lunch such a great success. We made $500 in profit, an all-time record! Special thanks to the clean up crew who had to wash slimy Crock Pots and enchilada pans, as well as to everyone else who brought desserts, helped assemble a record 400 enchiladas, worked the line, and staffed the kitchen. I would be remiss without mentioning two individuals, however, who went above and beyond: Thank you Tyler Krigbaum and Trevor York for working a double shift in the kitchen, risking burns from the oven and repeated demands for yet another pan of enchiladas ("are the onion ones done yet??!!"). You guys are awesome. Thanks again, everyone! I am the most blessed CSF adviser ever!!"

This is from Mrs. Sargent: The Angel Tree party on December 20 was a great success! Thanks to all you CSF members who were on a committee, sponsored a child, brought food, decorated, or just plain showed up. All the guests seemed to have a good time, and the children loved their gifts. A special thanks to Brady Lee, who wowed us all with his magic and shared the gospel clearly, and to Jordan Boudreau who provided lots of lovely Christmas music. Also thanks to all the committe...e chairs for their leadership and willingness to serve. You guys are fantastic!! And just in case you were wondering, $200 was collected from our generous high school students for World Vision; we bought two goats and four chickens for African families. God is so good. I am blessed to be the adviser of such a wonderful group of students who are clever, talented, and caring. Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

I'm going to send Mrs. Sargent all of your CSF hours in a week. Many of you don't have enough hours to be considered an active member. If you have any CSF hours (outside of meetings), please message them to me. The volunteer hours have to be CSF related, so if you did The Big Fresno Fair Food Drive or worked at a football game, it counts. I have hours from the party and meeting, but if you have anything extra, I need it before next Friday. Thanks! Merry Christmas!
