Fiesta Days 17.02.2021

Update for our friends out that way:

Fiesta Days 28.01.2021

Thankfully no lives were lost. You may recognize these smiling faces as one of our beloved food vendors Sweet Edna’s at Fiesta Days. Please help our mountain neighbors recover. They lost everything when a neighbor’s house caught fire and it spread to their home. The most important thing is that the family and their pets are safe and we cannot be more grateful for that. THANK YOU to our community who have already reached out to help in many ways. Cat #SweetEdnas #ChesterFamily

Press Release June 4th, 2020 Fiesta Days 2020 CANCELED... Frazier Park, CA - It’s with a heavy heart that Mountain Memories Association announces today, the cancellation of the 2020 Fiesta Days. Vendors will receive a full refund. We hope to see you in 2021! We delayed in making this decision until now, as we had wanted to move forward with the event. However, an event like ours takes a few months to plan and promote. With less than 2 months remaining, we are unable to get confirmation from our insurance carrier regarding the COVID-19 situation. Nor can we apply for an alcohol permit from the state of California (until the governor rescinds the ‘stay at home’ order). At the local level, the County of Kern is unable to confirm and/or process the park, sound, parade and food permits. We fully intend on doing the Holiday Faire this December 5th, 2020. With our deepest regrets to the Mountain Communities, Board of Directors, Mountain Memories Association

COVID-19 update: We just received the sad news our sister events Lilac Festival and Wine in the Pines in Pine Mountain are canceling this year due to the concerns of public health in face of the virus outbreak. People that plan our mountain events work year round to make them a success and decisions like this are not made lightly. We are equally disappointed all their hard work will not come to fruition this year. As of March 16, 2020 we have NO PLAN TO CANCEL Fiesta Days. W...e may have to do some planning remotely over the next few weeks or month but we aim to put on our festival. As quickly as global status changed in the past week we have plenty of time for it to take a turn for the better by late summer. We will monitor all the recommendations made by the CDC and keep our patrons updated through the summer. No matter how much heart and soul our volunteers pour into the festival we will make a decision based on what is best for our community when the time comes.....but that is months away. Please stay healthy, friends! Wash your hands, don’t touch your face and keep an eye on this page over the next few months for updates. Cat #frazierfiestadays
