We are excited to release our strategic plan for the next 10 years. This plan charts an ambitious, forward-leaning course that focuses on developing training, technology, procurement and, most importantly, the Warfighter, to best support Navy EOD’s maritime missions while placing an emphasis on supporting Joint Force requirements. It also details how each and every one of us will have a role in building a force to accomplish our mission of eliminating explosive threats so th...e fleet and nation can win whenever, wherever and however it chooses. We will achieve this through five strategic objectives: Develop the force to win against near-peer competitors and empowered non-state actors. Expand our advantage against competitors’ undersea threats. Capitalize on our unique ability to counter weapons of mass destruction. Grow expertise in the exploitation of next-generation weapons systems. Embolden allies and partner nation’s capabilities. Check out the video to learn more and go to https://www.dvidshub.net/publication/issues/55912 to read the entire plan!

Happy 245th birthday to the U.S. Navy! This year's theme is "Victory At Sea," which encompasses the Navy’s efforts in battle during World War II. The Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) community has proudly served for 79 years and the foundation for the force we know today was laid during World War II. The Mine and Bomb Disposal personnel were among the first to land on European and Pacific beaches, quickly clearing channels and harbors to provide critical access to All...ied landing forces. The Navy EOD and Diving community continues to do our part to support the Fleet in enabling the Navy's victory at sea and to expand our advantage against competitors' threats on land and underwater. Our forces are evolving to meet future Fleet requirements, especially in a dynamic great power competition environment.
