I guess I don’t really think of this as being a platform. As in, I have a platform. It is, and I do. So here goes: I have not walked in your shoes, any racially-fueled actions towards me certainly pale in comparison to those for people of color. That much I get. I am beginning to understand that silence speaks volumes, and has for years. To apologize for the unjust would be insulting yet I’m afraid to say the wrong thing. So a desire to be better, a combination of trusted... resources*, and respect for the wronged has lead me to this: Moving forward, what questions do you want people (like me) who can never fully understand to be asking? I support ALL who are motivated by, and act, with good intent. Be good. *Keep it simple.
