January 23rd Race Postponed Updated shelter-in-place requirements means that race committee boats and competitor boats must be from the same household. This significantly affects both our ability to run races as well as your ability to compete in them. Therefore EYC is once again going to have to postpone the January 23rd race. EYC will use the January 23rd date to practice running races with a single handed committee consistent with the Coast guard requirements, weather perm...itting. If any boat crewed by a single household wishes to participate in a sailing rally we intend to be on station and run through the starting sequence. This single household rally would not be part of any race or scored in the series. We kindly ask boats that may be sailing on the 23rd that are not crewed by a single household to stay clear of the area to avoid the appearance of violating the shelter in place order. See more
