UCLA Emergency Medicine Research Associates 20.04.2021

A desire to learn about the nuances of emergency medicine doesn’t have to be confined to the walls of Ronald Reagan! This quarter EMRA members have taken their interest in medicine to the books in order to explore the world of medical literature, starting with Complications by Atul Gawande. This book centers around the discussion of human fallibility in such a lucrative field, and in combination with Dr. Gawande’s stories of the ED, members have certainly had interesting and fruitful discussion over the ideas presented in this novel.
