It is time again for.......THE LENAEA HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE FESTIVAL!!!! Theatre Production students are working on monologues, scenes and a one act play for the festival and we will be previewing all of them a week before we head to the festival so we can get YOUR feedback! 1/29 &1/30 @ 7:00 tix at the door.

I am so proud of our Theatre II student cast and Theatre Production student production/technical crew of ALICE! Friday, Dec 6th Elsie Allen Theatre Dept hosted 341 elementary school students from 3 local elementary schools for our Annual Children's Theatre Show ALICE, a bi-lingual one-act adaptation of the classic by Lewis Carroll. A special thanks to all of the teachers who brought their students (field trips can be challenging!) We hope to provide more opportunities for students to come to the theatre AND for our students to come to you!!!!

Our public show is THIS FRIDAY, Dec. 6th AT 5:30!!!! This year we have over 300 elementary students from 3 different local elementary schools attending a FREE schoolday performance at 10:30 on Friday as well! A BIG thank you to Tiffany Kappman of Taylor Mountain School for inspiring other schools to join us!!!! The photos feature Nick Rey-Acosta (March Hare)and Johnathan Contreras Galvan (Mad Hatter), and cast members rehearsing! Join us for this colorful, one-act, bi-lingual production!!

We were awarded a grant to help cover the cost of a new cyclorama curtain (replacing the 26-year-old one that was severely damaged last year) AND a much-needed upgrade on our booth computer!!! True supporters of comprehensive education...which includes the ARTS! Also, after 2.5 years of trying to get them approved to come to Elsie, Eddy Hansen and Patrick Taber are now gracing us with their expertise and imparting their technical skills to our production students! Our BEAUTIFUL set was constructed by our students with their support and guidance! Please come and enjoy this classic murder mystery!
