We have been asked a lot about the history of our iconic front bumpers so here is a story for you! ...... The First DR Front bumper was built in 1987 for Marty Hart’s #HondaTRX250R !! Loren Duncan wanted it to be an iconic piece so everyone would know Marty was a DR rider. The original design was a collaboration between Loren Duncan and David Forge (David was owner of Finishline axles) with input from Marty. A lot of thought went into the designwanted striking appearance... but needed to be strong and function well on the race track. Also had to be built within regulations. *Back in the early days the bumper could not break the forward plain of front tires. The first Banshee DR front bumper was built in 1989.
