This 42 year old female patient came to see me and together we planned out a 7 month journey to help her achieve her cosmetic goals. She wanted to reduce lines and approve the appearance of her skin, but maintain a natural look. I started by administering Botox Cosmetic to the area between her eyebrows and forehead. She loved the results so much that two weeks later, I used Botox Cosmetic for her wrinkling around her eyes (crow's feet). During her next appointment a coup...le months later, we decided to proceed with our laser plan. I used a combination of lasers, all in a single treatment session, to give her the best results. The first laser I used that day was the Cool Touch Varia. As you can see in the photos above, I was able to eliminate the large blue #veins under her eyes with just one treatment! I walked her to the next room and I treated her with the Vbeam Perfecta. The goal of this laser was to decrease redness and broken capillaries on her nose, cheeks and chin. If you look carefully, you can also see that I was able to completely eliminate the red cherry #angiona under her right eye (it was very close to her eyelid). No problem! The last laser I used that day was the Cynosure Accolade q-switched #alexandrite laser. This is one of my favorite lasers for addressing brown spots and #sundamage. As you can see in the photos, ONE treatment yields some impressive results! At her last appointment (now a few months after her first appointment), we did her second treatment with Botox Cosmetic. I also added one syringe of Juvederm Voluma to address the volume loss, hollowing, and darkness under her eyes. Wow, what a difference! Have you ever been standing in the mirror and you look at your chest and wonder, "why does the center of my chest always look #sunburned?" Over the years, women, in particular, get a lot of cumulative sun damage on the mid upper chest, usually in a V pattern. Whether it's a shirt or a dress, the middle of the upper chest is often exposed to the sun. Even a few minutes of sun exposure a day will lead to long term damage. The radiation from the sun causes red discoloration,... which is actually tiny little red capillaries. The good news is that we have the newest #laser to treat this issue and it's called #Vbeam Prima. The first Vbeam was released over 20 years ago, but like any other #technology, lasers get better with time! I remember using the original Vbeam during my first year of residency back in 2000, and this newest version is so much better! This 51 year old female came to me wanting to improve the red, sun damaged look to her mid chest, so I treated her ONE time with the Vbeam Prima. One of the great things about this #treatment on the chest is that there is no downtime and no special care needed.
