Can nutrition impact your fertility? Yes! Incorporating certain foods into your diet can improve egg health, embryo quality and hormone regulation. -Leafy greens are a great source of folate, an important nutrient for early pregnancy. -Seafood is rich in omega-3 fatty acids which are known to improve overall egg health. Be sure to choose seafood that is low in mercury (salmon and halibut are great options). -Seeds and nuts are also excellent sources of omega-3’s. Flaxseed, walnuts, chia seeds, and hemp seeds are all great options. -Green tea is a fertility superfood packed with antioxidants, which help remove free radicals that can cause damage to both eggs and sperm! Remember to keep it to one cup of caffeine per day while undergoing fertility treatments.
