Some Q&A on the museum
Info on the museum
Update on Dragonfest. We have penciled in August 21 for the event. However, we are not sure the venue, the place, will be there by then. We are also not sure if the city will allow to have the event because of covid. We will have a better understanding by the month of May. So please, don't book anything until we find out for sure.
Join me as we talk about the status of the Museum and our outlook for Dragonfest.
Martial Arts Film & Historic Locations. Enjoy this one of a series of videos we will do on unique film and martial arts locations. For this video, (and pardon t...he audio), we venture to Rush Hour, Beverly Hills Ninja, Lethal Weapon plus the Jet Center, Ed Parker's famous Pasadena studio and so much more. Directed by Art Camacho and shot by Mario Prado. Have some fun watching it. https://www.youtube.com/watch See more
Dragonfest Cancelled for 2020! We have thought about this long and hard. We had planned to host Dragonfest this August, however, with the "push back" of opening timelines and we may not even get the funds we need from the city, plus the visitation may be lower because some people may be more cautious about going to a large gathering with the virus, and, we may not even be allowed to use the convention center in August, we have decided to cancel Dragonfest for 2020. But, we look forward to a bigger 2021!! Thank you for your understanding. - Michael Matsuda
As you know, states are slowing beginning to re-open. We were told they will open in phases 1-4. Phase 4 is for large gatherings, which means now until phase 4 is around 3 months. Which is the end of July. Thankfully, Dragonfest is toward the end of August, which means we are a month after phase 4. So yeah, Dragonfest will still be this year!!!
This weekend at 4 pm, at the Museum, is Keith Vitali Day. Let's pack this out!!!!
Dragonfest is more than a convention. It is a place in time where we all get together to celebrate. We celebrate seeing others we haven't seen in a long time. W...e celebrate new friendships. We celebrate the impact that the martial arts has had in our lives and we celebrate supporting something that is bigger than all of us, something that will keep our history alive. This event would not be possible without all of your help. Thank you to all those who have come and supported this great event. To all those celebrities who give of their time to sign autographs, to all our vendors and supporters and performers and seminar people and to all our volunteers. Thank you to wonderful, major sponsors over the years. To Visit Burbank, to Dr. Kam Yuen DC, to the El Rey Network, to Michael Parrella and to Supervisor Kathryn Barger See more

It's time to get ready for Dragonfest! Here is our latest flyer for the event. If you purchase your tickets now, you can take it off your taxes for this year, b...ecause, the Museum is a fully registered, fully active Non-Profit Charity Organization. This year, we will have two days of both vendor booths and seminars. We will be putting the listing of seminars and performances on the back page when we get them all in. There will be different seminars and different performances each day. Tickets can be purchased here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/dragonfest-expo-tickets-832782
The very first ticket to be sold every year for Dragonfest is Jeffrey Mazzotti. You are the man Jeff! He has made this a tradition every year!!! Jeffrey Mazzotti
Dragonfest! Our eventbrite page is now complete and will be available for ticket purchase to Dragonfest tomorrow, Friday at 11 am. The eventbrite page will be active at that time.
