BOOK RELEASE! UNDERSTANDING STUDENT DISCIPLINE IN CALIFORIA SCHOOLS: A parent guide to General and Special Education Discipline It's been a year since my first book Student Discipline, Special Education Discipline, Anti-Bullying and Other Relevant Student Issues, A Guide For Practitioners was released. ... I am thrilled to announce that this month my new publication Understanding Student Discipline in California Schools: A Parent's Guide to General and Special Education Discipline, was released, in both paperback and Kindle versions, with an upcoming version in Spanish that will be available June 2017. The book provides step-by-step guidance to parents and advocates of students facing school discipline, including special education discipline, and presents the material in a way that is easy to follow and understand. Sample forms are provided to help parents understand the types of forms they can expect to receive throughout the disciplinary process. It is a must-have guide for parents and student advocates who want to understand school disciplinary practices and make sure the rights of students are protected.
